MAULDIN, S.C. — Updated: January 17, 2012 Mauldin Police and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force have arrested the man accused of committing an attempted murder earlier this month. Dameon Marello Davis was arrested Tuesday while leaving an apartment in Greenville. Davis is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. He faces charges of attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony and discharging a firearm into a dwelling. Officials say he has a violent criminal past.
Posted January 13, 2012 Maudlin Police are trying to find an attempted murder suspect who they say has a violent criminal history. The Mauldin Police Department is attempting to locate Dameon Marello Davis, also known as Dameo Marello Harris, in connection with a shooting Thursday at Windmill Apartments. Davis is charged with attempted murder and attempted armed robbery among several charged after the shooting at 12:53 p.m. Anyone with information about Davis is asked to call Mauldin police at (864) 289-8900.
